Extra-Large
The Gardigo XXL Insect Hotel is an extra-large nesting aid for wild bees and many other insects. Life isn’t easy for these little critters: in our agriculture-dominated environment, suitable nesting sites and dry shelters are becoming increasingly scarce. But anyone can help by placing an insect house in their garden. In return, insects help us–bees, ladybugs, earwigs, lacewings, butterflies, and others are all beneficial garden helpers.
Nesting Aid for Wild Bees
The bamboo tubes in our insect hotel naturally come in varying diameters. That’s important, because there are over 300 different species in Central Europe alone. Some are large, others are small. By offering nesting spots in different sizes, each bee can find the right-sized home. Additional nesting space is available in the holes of the hardwood pieces.
Earwig Hotel
The clay pot filled with wood wool beneath the roof of the insect hotel provides an ideal home for earwigs. These insects are natural enemies of greenflies and are essential beneficials in any garden.
Support for Butterflies, Ladybugs, and Other Beneficial Insects
The compartments in the upper section can be filled however you like. To attract butterflies to the dry shelter, try placing nettles, lilac blossoms, or other nectar plants nearby. The ladybug compartment can be filled with straw, wood wool, or other materials that create a cozy environment for these lucky beetles.
Wood chips and Douglas fir cones in the bottom two compartments offer a variety of insects richly structured hiding places.
Refillable
All compartments can be opened so the nesting material can be replaced after a few years. The bamboo tubes are not glued in place. Once they are no longer accepted by bees, they can easily be swapped out for new ones.

Schönes Hotel für Insekten
gut verarbeitet und wird sehr gut angenommen von den Wildbienen. Die Füße habe ich nicht benötigt, da ich das Hotel an eine Wand montiert habe.
