High quality bamboo for your nesting aid
Fill your insect hotel with our premium-quality bamboo tubes! These pieces of bamboo cane are node-free and have had the pith removed. This saves you the trouble of laborious post-processing, and you can insert the sticks directly into your bee hotel. The wild bees will thank you, as they’ll have plenty of space for their brood chambers and can use the full length of the tube (approx. 12.5 cm).
Extra long for better breeding success
The length of the bamboo sticks is also crucial for successful breeding, as shorter tubes result in mostly male bees hatching. Chambers for female bees are typically created towards the back. A longer tube leads to a more balanced gender ratio. Additionally, larvae placed at the back are better protected from birds.
Varying diameters for better biodiversity
The pack contains approx. 150 bamboo tubes in various diameters. This allows both large and small bee species to find a tube that suits them. After all, there are nearly 600 different species of bees in central Europe, varying greatly in size.
