In autumn bees (mason bees) will lay their eggs into the tubes of wood and seal them up. In spring new bees will emerge. Mason bees are active from spring to autumn and pollinate fruit and flowers stop
The ladybug feels very comfortable and will breed in the natural housing. Apart from being beautiful and a great experience for kids, ladybugs are the biggest enemy of the vine louse and greenfly. The ladybugs will visit the Insect Hotel for refuge at night and for hibernation during the winter.
Application
Place or hang the Gardigo Insect Hotel in spring or in summer in a sunny but protected spot in your garden or on your terrace. Sooner or later insects will visit and settle down. Food can usually be found in the surrounding garden. Many insects are very useful in our garden, killing off pests or pollinating flowers. Some insects will hibernate in the hotel through the winter. It is a great fun to watch the life of the butterfly and to help them. Especially for children this is a great experience.
Please note:
- Hang the Gardigo Insect Hotel in a sunny spot, sheltered against wind and rain.
- The entrance of the house should ideally show south.
- Leave the hotel hanging in winter. Insects might be nesting and hibernating in it.
- Do not varnish or paint the Gardigo Butterfly House. The solvents or the paint might be harmful for the insects. The insects will also not like the smell and avoid using the house.

Sieht gut aus!
Zuerst muss ich sagen das der Versand super schnell ging. Das Insektenhotel macht optisch einen guten Eindruck und lässt sich super in die Natur integrieren. Jetzt warte ich mal ab, welche Insekten in ihr neues Zuhause einziehen werden.

Schönes Häuschen
Das Insektenhaus wurde in unserem Garten sehr gut angenommen und wir hoffen auf weitere Bewohner. Es ist einfach aufzuhängen und sieht wirklich schön aus!!

Die Verarbeitung ist nicht so schön, die Insekten stört das sicherlich nicht. Habe aber für den Preis eine gute Insektenbehausung bekommen. Die Aufhängung ist auch sehr einfach.
